One dead after motorcycle collision in Pickens County

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – One person is dead after a motorcycle collision, Tuesday evening in Pickens County. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that before 8:30 p.m., a collision happened on All Good Farm Road, at SE 183. The collision only involved one vehicle, a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle. According to highway patrol, the driver of the motorcycle was traveling east on All Good Farm Road and traveled off the left side of the road, striking a tree. Motorcyclist dead, two Catawba County women injured in Newton crash

NEWTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Catawba County man has died and a woman has serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on N.C. Hwy. 16 Tuesday morning. According to the Newton Police Department, officers responded to a crash at 11:55 a.m. to the intersection of N.C. 16 and East 20th Street. The investigation revealed 20-year-old Brent Lee Edmonson, of Newton, was riding a 2024 Kawasaki when he entered the intersection traveling north on 16 and collided with a 2001 Honda CRV traveling west on South McLin Creek Road. SLED charges Catawba County man with stabbing Mount Pleasant officer during altercation The driver of the Honda, a 63-year-old from Claremont, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The vehicle's passenger, a 60-year-old woman from Conover, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcycle driver, Edmonson, was ejected and was found deceased by officers and other first responders at the scene. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone that may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Sgt.
