2 hospitalized after Rumpke crash in Darke County
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash involving a Rumpke truck in Darke County.
Darke County deputies said the crash happened Feb. 13 around 9 a.m. in the 8800 block of U.S. Route 127.
The initial investigation found a black 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was heading north on US Route 127 and veered left of center. Then it reportedly hit a white 2024 Rumpke truck head-on.
Authorities claim the Chevrolet driver was taken by the Mobile Intensive Care Unit to Miami Valley Hospital. The Rumpke driver was taken to Wayne HealthCare for minor injuries.
The Darke County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.
