BTS' RM And V Set To Be Discharged From Military Today; Big Hit Issues Fan Warning

Last Updated: BTS' RM and V will be discharged together on June 10 from Gangwon-do. Big Hit urges fans not to visit due to safety and space concerns. BTS members RM and V are officially set to be discharged from the military together today, on June 10. The duo, who enlisted on the same day in December 2023, will be completing their service from different divisions located in Gangwon-do. RM has been serving in the military band of the 15th Infantry Division in Hwacheon, while V has been stationed in the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the 2nd Corps Military Police in Chuncheon. Despite excitement building among fans, Big Hit Music confirmed that there will be no official event marking their discharge, citing safety and space concerns. 'There are a number of soldiers being discharged on the same day," Big Hit Music stated on the fan platform Weverse. 'No official events will be held, and each location has limited space, raising the risk of safety issues due to crowding." V (Kim Tae-hyung) also took to social media, posting a countdown that read, 'Sgt. Elio D-9." Both RM and V have served diligently, earning recognition early on. They were selected as 'Choi Jeong-yee Trainers" during boot camp and were promoted to sergeant ahead of schedule due to their conduct. Their discharge will be followed closely by fellow members Jimin and Jungkook, who are expected to complete their military service on June 11. Suga, who is serving as a social service agent due to medical conditions, will be released on June 21. Jin, the eldest member, was the first to enlist and is expected to rejoin the group soon. To mark BTS' debut anniversary, the '2025 BTS Festa" will take place on June 13 at KINTEX in Goyang. While fan anticipation is high, the agency has not yet confirmed whether all members will attend. On the same day, J-Hope will hold a special solo encore performance at Goyang Stadium, adding to the celebratory mood. The long-awaited return of BTS as a complete group seems just around the corner.
