Dunkin' Donuts and Jimmy John's to open first joint drive-thru location in San Diego
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Popular coffee chain Dunkin' Donuts is joining forces with Jimmy John's to establish their first combined drive-thru branch in San Diego.
The new location will occupy the space left behind by the former KFC building at the corner of Convoy Street and Othello Avenue in Kearny Mesa.

It won't be the first joint location for both chains, which already have a combined branch downtown at 605 C St. and another at 2260 Otay Lakes Rd. in Chula Vista. However, it will be the first combined establishment to have a drive-thru.
Dunkin' Donuts and Jimmy John's are both owned by the same parent company, Inspire Brands, which also owns popular chains like Arby's, Baskin Robbin's, Buffalo Wild Wings and Sonic.
The Dunkin' Donuts and Jimmy John's drive-thru will be located at 4140 Convoy St.
As of Monday, no opening date has been announced.
