MRHD 2025 Economic Development Match Grant opening soon
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A local non-profit will be opening its economic development grant in a matter of days.
This June, the Missouri River Historical Development will debut its 2025 match grant.
The competitive grant provides awards to support economic development projects within Woodbury County that need higher levels of funding and collaboration with other community resources.
Projects must start construction within two years of receiving the grant.
The grants vary from $250,000 to $1,000,000. Applications can be submitted throughout the whole month until June 30.
MRHD awarding $500K to boost Siouxland's economic development, human resources, education
According to a press release, 'Funding decisions will be announced during an awards ceremony on August 21 that will be held in the Anthem at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.' In the same release, MRHD said it has awarded more than $5,500,000 in the past decade to economic development projects.
