Keningau to host mega cultural and entrepreneurship event

KENINGAU: Keningau is set to host one of its biggest events with the combined launch of the 8th Crocker Range Festival (TCRF) and the 2025 Keningau MSME Carnival, themed around cultural and entrepreneurial synergy. Scheduled for 26–29 June 2025 at Dataran Keningau, the four-day festival will showcase cultural performances, traditional competitions, local product exhibitions, and MSME sales.
Advertisement District Officer Peter J. Moinjil and Rafie Robert, Chair of the Keningau Tourism and Culture Association, co-chair the organising committee. The event is backed by the Ministry of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Sabah. Rafie said the festival aims to promote Keningau as a new tourism destination, while the MSME Carnival supports local business growth. He added the event reflects the state's commitment to tourism and economic empowerment, aligning with the Sabah Maju Jaya Strategic Plan. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Noor is expected to officiate the opening ceremony on 28 June at 10am.
