Ready for spring? Stark County Home & Garden Show arrives. Here's what you need to know

CANTON ‒ Ready to plant some seeds? The 2025 Stark County Home & Garden Show is fast approaching. The 74th annual show — which will showcase more than 200 exhibitors and vendors — takes place March 14-15 at Hall of Fame Village's Center for Performance, 1901 Champions Gateway. The event features everything from remodeling to home design to landscaping to gardening experts — along with food, entertainment, and a health and wellness expo. "Every home and garden show is different," said Joe Race, executive director at the Building Industry Association of Stark & East Central Ohio, which organizes the event. "There's always new and different vendors that add a lot to the mix, and we're looking forward to their participation." Organizers expect anywhere from 6,000 to 7,000 people will attend over the two days. Race said the event is a great way to kick off the spring season. "This event will get them ready and in the mood for the warm weather that's coming," he said. "If they need anything regarding home improvement inside or outside, then this is the place to be." Here's what to know about the upcoming show: Race said many different departments from Aultman Health System — everything from sports medicine to spiritual care — will be represented at the show's Health and Wellness Expo, which will be March 14. "We've covered everything you could possibly need help and advice with regarding medical care," he said. Here are the departments that will be fielding questions at the show: ∎ Ortho Sports ∎ Spiritual Care ∎ Trauma Services ∎ Specialized Senior Services ∎ Fitness & Therapy Services ∎ Cancer Navigation ∎ Stroke Center ∎ Lab Services ∎ Imaging Services ∎ Home Care ∎ Hospice & Palliative Services ∎ Pain Management ∎ Heart & Vascular Services ∎ Nutrition & Diabetes Services ∎ Sleep Lab ∎ Maternal Services ∎ Wound Care The show will feature four different landscape exhibits designed by Mersa Landscape & Design, Minard's Landscape & Design, Stoney Creek Landscaping, and Wolfe's Landscape Solutions. The displays, created by certified design professionals, show off "the best in the area for creativity on a budget," organizers said. Entertainment is planned for both days of the show, with select bands and radio personalities expected to make appearances. There's also a balloon artist and a face painter scheduled, and four food trucks will be available. "It's going to be a great place to shop for the day and have a meal and be entertained all at one time," Race said. Here's the entertainment lineup: Friday: JT Turk (WHBC) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Prime Trio (classic pop and rock) at 4 p.m. Saturday: Morning Star (Folk/Americana) from10 a.m. to noon; JT Turk (WHBC) from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Balloon artist Phillip Palmer will appear both days from 2 to 6 p.m., and Tracy Dawn Brewer (Brewtifully) will offer face painting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
