Sarah Reed hosts annual Women in Leadership breakfast
Sarah A. Reed Children's Center hosted its 2025 Women in Leadership breakfast Friday morning to celebrate Women's History Month.
90 Employees, board members and the young women empowerment group gathered for the event held at the Bayfront Sheraton.

It was a chance to learn about the agency's founders, present achievement awards, and gain inspiration.
The event is in its fifth year and celebrates the collective strength and influence of women who dedicate their lives to education, mentorship and leadership.

'Our foundress was an amazing woman in her time and she and some other remarkable women started this organization and so we want to honor that tenacity and that trailblazing spirit of the employees and emerging leaders within our organization,' said Dr. Adrienne Dixon, president & CEO of Sarah A. Reed Children's Center.
Dixon said given recent policy changes that impact women, the messages shared today are more important in 2025 than ever.
