No injuries in early morning fire in Saskatoon
Saskatoon firefighters responded to a structure fire early Saturday morning.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 a.m. in the 400 block of 21st Street West, according to a news release from the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD).
Upon arrival, crews observed smoke and flames exterior to the building and advanced hose lines to apply water to the exterior fire while also entering the building to search for any potential fire extension.
The SFD says after ventilating the building to clear smoke, firefighters were able to completely extinguish the fire.
There were no injuries reported, either to civilians or firefighters.
As of 4:33 a.m. Saturday, a fire investigator was on the scene to determine the cause, origin, and extent of the damage.
