UVM celebrated students at commencement
BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Friends and families alike celebrated as thousands of students graduated from the University of Vermont this past weekend.
UVM held its 224th Commencement Ceremony on-campus Sunday morning despite the rain. Many people brought umbrellas and ponchos to the University Green, where students flipped tassels and heard a speech soon-departing Interim President Patricia Prelock among others.
Several college graduation ceremonies were also held at the Robert E. Miller Expo Centre. Some ceremonies were delayed due to weather.
