Sunny Deol reminisces as '23 March 1931: Shaheed' completes 23 years
Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Bollywood's action star Sunny Deol, recently marked the 23rd anniversary of his revered period drama "23 March 1931: Shaheed", a film that pays homage to India's indomitable freedom fighters.
Directed by Guddu Dhanoa, the 2002 film starred Bobby Deol as the iconic revolutionary Bhagat Singh, while Sunny Deol essayed the role of Chandrashekhar Azad, another towering figure in India's independence movement. On the film's 23rd anniversary, Sunny shared rare behind-the-scene images of himself and Bobby Deol on Instagram.
Sharing the poignant skills the actor wrote, "23 years of 23 March 1931: Shaheed — a film that echoes the fire of revolution and the sacrifice of heroes.
