The American Grammy-winning singer was charged with assault in connection with a 2023 incident that allegedly took place at a venue in Hanover Square, London. READ MORE: Second man charged in UK assault case involving US singer Chris Brown Brown, who was initially due to remain in custody until 13 June, was granted £5 million bail (approximately R120,525,350.00) by a London court on Wednesday. The judge reportedly ordered Brown to pay the amount as a security fee — a financial guarantee to ensure he returns to court. According to Sky News, his bail conditions permit him to continue travelling for his tour, which includes dates in the UK throughout June and July. However, he is prohibited from using his passport for any other purposes. His next court appearance in London is scheduled for 20 June. Following his release, the Under the Influence hitmaker took to Instagram to remind fans about his highly anticipated tour. 'From the cage to the stage! Breezy Bowl,' he wrote.
