2 charged after 4 guns, 2,000 rounds of ammunition stolen west of Edmonton

Charges have been laid after four guns and 2,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen along with a vehicle west of Edmonton.
The vehicle was reported stolen to Parkland RCMP on May 19.
It was later recovered without the guns.
On May 29, police executed a search warrant in Edmonton and seized two stolen guns
A 46-year-old woman was arrested and charged with:
possession of weapons contrary to order;
unauthorized possession of a firearm;
unsafe storage of a firearm;
possession of a weapon obtained by crime;
possession of stolen property over $5,000; and
two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
A 35-year-old man was arrested several days later and charged with:
unsafe storage of a firearm;
unauthorized possession of a firearm; and
possession of stolen property over $5,000.
The woman has a court date of July 29 in Stony Plain.
The next court date for the man is pending.
