The reigning NBA MVP joins Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob McAdoo, Elgin Baylor, James Harden, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Rick Barry, Shaquille O'Neal and Luka Dončić as the only players to accomplish the feat. This is the 25th time a player has reached 3,000, and Dončić was the most recent player to do it when he scored 3,005 points with the Dallas Mavericks last season.
The Pacers have a 1-0 series lead heading into Game 2 on Sunday. Gilgeous-Alexander had 38 points in Oklahoma City's 111-110 Game 1 loss on Thursday.
