In a recent chat with journalist Shubhankar Mishra, Mika Singh opened up about his dynamic with Salman, and the very specific window when it's actually safe (and smart) to talk to him. Apparently, Salman has what Mika calls his 'cranky hours." He joked that at night, the actor is in a completely different mood than in the day, implying that Salman is a completely different person once the sun goes down. During the day, the superstar is mostly reserved, lost in thought, and likely to ignore even people he'd shared a meal with just hours earlier.
Mika backed this up with a hilarious anecdote involving the Meet Bros. The composer duo had shared biryani with Salman one night and, understandably, assumed they'd bonded. But when they saw him at the Race 3 premiere the next day and tried to say hi, Salman walked right past them—without even a glance. Mika, revealed the golden rule to approach Salman Khan: 'Never approach Salman Bhai between 2 and 6 pm—especially without song.'

Many assume they've formed a bond with Salman Khan after just one night of hanging out, but according to Mika, it's all about understanding the superstar's rhythm. Salman tends to open up only in the evenings, especially if music is part of the equation. It's not necessarily about having a drink—he simply needs time to ease into the right frame of mind.
