Malaysia Elected As Member Of OIC's IPHRC For 2025–2028 Term
KUALA LUMPUR, June 21 (Bernama) – Malaysia has been elected as a member of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for the 2025–2028 term.
In a statement today, Wisma Putra announced that Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, led Malaysia's lobbying efforts during the election session held on the sidelines of the 51st Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) Meeting in Istanbul Saturday.
'Malaysia's candidate, Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Aishah Bidin, will serve on the commission for the said term beginning this August,' the statement said.
