Big Ed Dates an Older Woman After His Split From Liz! '90 Day Diaries' Season 6, Episode 11 Recap
From new love connections to potential breakups, 90 Day Diaries brings fans closer to the personal lives of their favorite TLC personalities. Episode 11 caught up with Ed 'Big Ed' Brown, Clayton Clark and Analí Vallejos, Ashley Michelle and Manuel Velez, and John Mcmanus. Ed returned to screens to update fans after his split from Liz Woods on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? in 2024. Since the heartbreak, the TLC personality told viewers that he's reconnected with his faith, returning to the Catholic roots instilled in him by his parents. 'We went the mass every Sunday but I stopped going to church. I stopped talking to God,' he explained. 'I thought he was mad at me because he wouldn't give me what I wanted, which was a wife. And you know, after a really long year, which included a really hard breakup, I wanted to give back to my faith.' His move to Arkansas was featured during his last appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and while Liz has since relocated to Washington, Ed revealed that his mother now lives just down the street. In a meeting with his mom, she asked him about the viral September 2024 rumors that he was engaged after meeting a woman at an event. 'Oh, my God, It was crazy, crazy story. So, I'm in Florida doing a fundraiser and this beautiful Italian girl comes in, olive skin, brown hair, brown eyes,' he explained. 'So, I invited her to dinner the next night. And on the way there, we're holding hands and it's really cute. And then we get to the restaurant and we're having a couple drinks and we're just, we just clicked.' Ed said he asked the restaurant manager for a paper clip, which he used to improvise a ring. 'And I told her that I know I've only known you for 24 hours, but you know, I want to spend the rest of my life with you,' he recalled. Although it was a sweet moment, the moment went viral, and he said it "scared" his date. The pair are no longer together. The next day, three of Ed's friends came over. After Ed began complaining about being single, they argued that he should date women at least 40 years old or over and offered to set him up on a blind date. Ed's friend Courtney set him up with a woman named Christine. While he admitted he wasn't sure if she was his type, he said he was open to giving it a chance. 'She's definitely much older than the women that I've dated recently, so it's going to take some getting used to, I think,' the photographer told viewers. 'But she's cute and my dogs love her, too.' Ed pulled out all the stops for his date, renting a limo and taking her to a haunted house. The evening seemingly went well, with the pair agreeing to a second date. Patrick Mendes' older brother, John, was back to update fans on his life and he revealed he was still living in San Antonio, Texas. Still engaged to Megan — whom fans met on season 4 of 90 Day: The Single Life in 2024 — John gave his brother a call to share his nerves about the upcoming wedding. 'Megan, you know, keeps bringing up the wedding stuff more and more. So, she says she wants to make a step in a direction. I don't know what the hell to do,' he explained. When Patrick asked John if he believed he was ready to get married, he replied, 'Is it the best time? No. You know, us fighting all the time got me a little worried.' Patrick encouraged his brother to 'drag out' the process, but as soon as he got home, Megan was ready to 'just go to the courthouse' and tie the knot. This sparked an argument, as John insisted Megan had previously been against a courthouse wedding. The couple ultimately agreed that they'd stay engaged for no more than two years. Fans checked in with 90 Day Fiancé season 10 couple Clayton and Analí after they documented the 90 days before their 2023 wedding. During the series, Clayton's mom famously lived in his closet, but he was happy to confirm that was no longer the case. 'We've been married for a year now and in our new place we have a lot more space. So I decided to get more serious about a long time passion of mine,' he told viewers. 'I still have my job as a cybersecurity analyst but this year I decided to pursue comedy as a career.' During the episode, Clayton and Analí took fans along as they traveled to Ohio for his headline comedy show. Along with their stateside travels, they revealed they were saving up for a second wedding ceremony in her native of Peru. "Me and Analí are planning to go to Peru for our second wedding because her family wasn't able to make it to the one here in the U.S.,' he told the camera. 'So hopefully this new side hustle of mine will be able to cover some of these expenses." Before his show, Clayton was nervous but managed to make it on stage. Although he received a lukewarm reaction, he wasn't going to let it stop him from continuing his passion. "I'm on my way to paying for a wedding and maybe I can quit my job and do comedy,' he joked. After placing eighth in her bodybuilding competition, Ashley was discouraged because her husband wasn't being supportive. After the show, Manuel told Ashley that he hoped she wanted to focus on her fitness for health reasons and 'not because she wants muscles.' The next day, tensions only continued to rise between Ashley and Manuel. "I was ready to celebrate with Manuel. And before we could even start having fun, he decided to act like a spoiled little child. Surprise,' she explained. 'There were two competitors right at the entrance, [who] wanted to congratulate me. And he turned around and walked out and did not go back in.' Ashley cried as she recounted the story to her cousin, telling her, 'At this point, I'm disgusted by him.' Two days later, Ashley and Manuel were back home and things hadn't gotten any better between them. 'I should be on this like total high from being in Texas, being in the energy of all these amazing bodybuilders, all these amazing athletes placing everything,' she explained in a solo confessional. 'But I'm not because of the way that Manuel has been treating me. We haven't really talked about what happened in Texas. We honestly haven't even really interacted at all. But honestly, I'm sick of it and I'm ready to call him on it.' Ashley asked Manuel to be more 'receptive.' However, Manuel clapped back by complaining that he ignored her after the bodybuilding competition and said he wasn't a fan of her new muscular build. "I don't want to be married to anybody who doesn't want to support my dreams and also wants to control how I look,' Ashley told the cameras.

Life After Breakups and a Baby on the Way! '90 Day Diaries' Season 6, Episode 6 Recap
It was revealed that Fernanda Flores and Noel Mikaelian hit their breaking point during season 6 of 90 Day Diaries, though they're not the only couple with drama. In Touch breaks down everything that happened during season 6, episode 5 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff. Longtime 90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson returned for season 6 of 90 Day Diaries, and he shared that he's currently 39 years old and lives in Morgan, Utah. "Two weeks ago I left Reno to live in Utah with my mother's brother, John, on his farm. It's been a hard life recently and I really just needed a fresh start,' he explained. John told Colt that he had been 'working hard' and seemed to be 'reclaiming [his] life." Colt then revealed that he had not been in frequent communication with his mother, Debbie Johnson, and he had not told her he was working on the farm. He said that he hadn't spoken to her in two years, with the last time they saw each other taking place at the 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all. While he said that they occasionally text, Colt had not told Debbie that he divorced ex-wife Vanessa Guerra. John advised Colt to see Debbie, and Colt admitted it was a possibility. "My mother has invited me more than once to go visit her in Canada, but I have yet to take her up on that offer,' he said. 'I was just trying to build my own distance between us, but now I feel like I need my mother. I need to see her.' Colt eventually booked a ticket to see Debbie and her boyfriend, Tony, and he left for Canada two days later. Episode 6 also caught up with Ashley Michelle and Manuel Velez, who got a job working in house renovations in the United States. Ashley opened up about her weight loss journey, and she shared an update after she lost over 100 pounds. "I'm feeling really good about my body, and I'm excited to show it off,' she said. 'I'm even thinking about signing up for a bodybuilding competition in a few months." While working out with a friend, Ashley explained that she and Manuel wanted to go to Ecuador for a month to six weeks to see his sons. 'I'm also thinking I stay in Ecuador for two or three weeks and then I go to Tulum and do a spiritual retreat in Mexico,' she said before adding, 'I don't really want Manuel to come with me.' The couple later enjoyed a mini-golf date, and she said she had "to tell Manuel that I'm going to leave Ecuador early to go on a spirit virtually in Mexico.' Ashley added, 'I'm a little worried how he's going to take this." After Ashley brought up the retreat to Manuel, it was clear he was 'not on board.' He then accused her of 'only thinking about yourself.' In episode 6, Fernanda explained that she is now 26 and is living in New York. However, she was visiting friends in Miami and was doing a modeling gig in the episode. Fernanda explained that she was no longer with Noel, who had to move back to Germany. Not only did the distance get in the way of their romance, but she also felt that he put his career over their relationship. She later met up with friends and explained that she was struggling to support herself. "I am not making enough money to be living in New York, so that's why I'm traveling back and forth from New York to Miami,' she said. 'I really don't know what I'm going to do, whether I stay in New York and keep trying or I come back to Miami.' Fernanda also met up with her agency to discuss her modeling career during the episode. Her agent advised her that New York is competitive and she needed to improve her runway walk. Despite the concerns from her agency, Fernanda performed her modeling gig and she said that the job is one of her passions. Rob Warne shared he was back in Los Angeles and confirmed that he and estranged wife Sophie Sierra had called it quits. "Yeah, the divorce isn't final, but it's pretty much, you know, that's, that's where it's headed,' he said of their relationship status. 'And I'm back in LA and she's still in Texas." He went to the barber during the episode, where he explained he was changing up his look. "I've been growing my hair out since I met Sophie, and I think I've been growing it our entire relationship, which was like a four and a half, like 4 1/2 years,' he said. 'So, this hair represents a bad relationship and a bad time in my life." "Things were pretty dark there for a little bit, but luckily I made a great friend to therapy, someone who could shine a little light on that darkness,' he added while reflecting on their relationship. 'And we've been hanging out in our free time doing just fun stuff together. And this week we have a trip to Vegas planned." Rob later met up with fellow 90 Day: The Last Resort season 2 star Josh Weinstein in Las Vegas. "Initially, I did not have a very good first impression of Josh since he was kinda shooting his shot at Sophie a little bit,' Rob said in a confessional. 'But in the end, we bonded over our failed relationships and became really good friends in the process." During their conversation, Josh explained that Sophie had reached out to him and encouraged Rob to move on. "Sophie's been hitting me up a lot lately. Maybe she's feeling guilty about ending our marriage, so she wants to be friends and make herself feel better,' Josh told Rob. 'I really don't know. But I don't like it because it's making it harder for me to move on.' Akinyi Obala and Benjamin Taylor explained their plans to move into a larger home as they expected their first child together. "We've been waiting to be pregnant for since we got married,' she explained. 'It has been something that has been delaying, have gone through so much tears and crying and finally were having a baby.' Ben explained that Akinyi saw a social media post that claimed a decongestant could help with fertility issues, and she became pregnant one week after they tried the method. At the time of filming, Akinyi only had three months left of her pregnancy and they had chosen to not learn the baby's gender. "So Benjamin and I have been talking about what I want for my push gift, and I want a car,' she shared. 'Now that we're having a baby, I think it's going to be the perfect time, but especially if we're having a girl so that we can always just go shopping without him having to drive us everywhere." However, their car hunt was quickly derailed when Benjamin decided that the $46,5000 car they were looking at was out of their budget. The following day, the couple met with an immigration attorney to discuss Akinyi still not receiving her green card. The lawyer told them they only see the K-1 filed, though Benjamin insisted he paid nearly $6,000 to a company to process the paperwork and they were still asking for more. When Akinyi asked if Benjamin was 'duped,' the lawyer said, 'Yes, and unfortunately it is something that I see a lot where somebody thought the paperwork was filed and they relied on those assurances and I see nothing at all on my end.' Despite the setback, the lawyer assured them they can still move forward with the process.

90 Day Fiance's Tyray Considers Weight Loss Surgery: What He's Said About the Procedure
90 Day Fiancé star Tyray Mollett revealed he's focused on his fitness and considered undergoing gastric bypass surgery. In light of his weight loss journey, fans are likely wondering how Tyray plans to achieve his new look and how the process has been going. Tyray first announced he was interested in having a gastric bypass surgery in February 2024. 'I did get in contact with a company based in California but does procedures in Mexico,' he said during the February 7, 2024, episode of 'The Sarah Fraser Show' podcast. 'I worked out a deal with them to get a gastric sleeve done in April.' At the time, he said he put a deposit down for the procedure but was 'still debating' if he should go through with it. 'They want me to do it,' he told the show's host. 'I have to do the pre op in like a month but I'm probably, most likely going to do it. I think it'll be good and I got to make sure I'm good and healthy.' While fans have watched Tyray pursue relationships on 90 Day: The Single Life and 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, he returned to the TLC franchise on season 6 of 90 Day Diaries to document his interest in having the procedure done at Central California Bariatric Surgery center. 'I really need to make these changes and do whatever I can to keep the weight off,' Tyray said in a confessional, which was shared via TLC's Instagram in April 2025. 'Because my life depends on it.' As clips showed him contemplating the surgery, he added, 'Hopefully this will be the start to a new beginning. You know, I'm ready to look like a snack and not eat 'em.' Shortly after TLC uploaded the clip, several people rushed to the comments section to show their support for Tyray. 'I'm so happy you are doing this in CA and not Mexico!! Good luck on your journey!!!' one person commented. Despite expressing interest in the procedure on the show, it was not revealed if Tyray went through with the surgery. Meanwhile, he has not shared any updates about if he had the surgery done on social media. 'Gastric bypass and other types of weight-loss surgery — also called bariatric or metabolic surgery — involve making changes to your digestive system to help you lose weight,' according to the Mayo Clinic. 'Bariatric surgery is done when diet and exercise haven't worked or when you have serious health problems because of your weight. Some weight-loss procedures limit how much you can eat. Others work by reducing the body's ability to absorb fat and calories. Some procedures do both.' Bariatric surgery and other weight loss surgeries can offer many benefits. However, 'all forms of weight loss surgery are major procedures that can pose risks and side effects.' After people undergo the surgery, they 'must make permanent healthy changes to [their] diet and get regular exercise to help ensure the long-term success of bariatric surgery.'
