Best Google Pixel Deals: Save Up to $400 on Unlocked Models and Score a Phone for Free With Carriers

Google Pixel phones are securely ensconced on our list of the best phones for 2025. Google makes some of the most innovative Android devices on the market right now. Its current lineup consists of four top-notch phones, and several previously released Pixel phones are still available, which gives you extra options if you're looking to save money. We scoured the internet for deals on every Pixel series phone deal available, and we're confident there's something for every budget and need. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. To help you choose the right Pixel phone and get it in your hands for less, we've rounded up all the best Pixel deals. With more than five years of experience covering tech bargains, Adam Oram is one of CNET's dedicated deals experts, and he's searched the web for the best discounts, trade-in savings and other Pixel offers. He and other members of our deals team will continue to update this page as bargains come and go, so be sure to check back often for the latest batch of discounts. Right now Best Buy is offering the Google Pixel 8 for $200 off and the Google Pixel 8 Pro for $400 off. That brings the 8 down to $500 and the 8 Pro down to $600. While our reviewer Andrew Lanxon found a few faults in this high-end, previous-gen 8 Pro, overall he praised the screen quality, camera and performance. For the 8 Pro in particular, this is a significant price cut on a phone that ordinarily runs closer to $1,000. There are quite a few different Pixel phones to choose from right now. To help you find the best model for your needs and your budget, we've broken down the best deals across the generations below. The latest lineup from Google, the new Pixel 9 series phones come with a fresh design and are jam-packed with AI features. Generative AI pops up in many places, like the weather app and the all-new image-generation app. The new design uses flat edges and has a more defined camera bar. At an impressive 6.8 inches, the XL model is the largest phone created by Google yet. The Pixel 9 retails for $799, the 9 Pro is going for $999, the 9 Pro XL model is selling for $1,099 and the 9 Pro Fold starts at $1,799. Verizon is offering some generous savings on the Pixel 9 lineup right now. If you're after the basic Pixel 9, you can save $440 with a new line on an Unlimited Ultimate plan. Or, you can save up to $800 with both a new line and a trade-in, which scores you the basic Pixel 9 for free, the Pixel 9 Pro for just $6 per month, the 9 Pro XL for $11 per month and the 9 Pro Fold for $28 per month. See at Verizon AT&T doesn't carry the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but it is offering some savings on other models right now. If you're after the basic Pixel 9, you can snag it for just $6 per month when you purchase it on an installment plan and sign up for AT&T's Next Up Anytime service. That saves you $634 with no trade-in or new line required. If you do have an old phone valued at $35 or higher, you can trade it in for up to $1,050 off, which scores you the Pixel 9 Pro for free or 9 Pro XL for just $6 per month, as long as you have or switch to an eligible unlimited plan and are signed up for the Next Up Anytime service. See at AT&T T-Mobile has some generous offers for those adding a new line or looking to trade in their old phone right now. If you're on a Go5G Next or Plus plan, you'll get $1,000 off when either trading in an old phone or adding a new line of service. If you're on a Go5G, Magenta or One plan, you can still save $600 with a new line or $500 with an eligible trade-in. See at T-Mobile Google isn't currently offering any direct discounts on any Pixel 9 series phones. However, you can save up to $620 with an eligible trade-in. New customers looking to join Google Fi Wireless will also get up to $800 back as bill credits over 24 months, which nets you the basic Pixel 9 for free. See at Google Those adding (or upgrading to) an Unlimited Plus line at Xfinity can save up to $500 on the Pixel 9 lineup when they trade in an old phone. Current Xfinity customers can add one new unlimited line and get a second line free. See at Xfinity Spectrum is offering some pretty incredible savings on several Pixel 9 phones right now. The basic Pixel 9 appears to be sold out, but you can still score an impressive $500 off the Pixel 9 Pro XL and $350 off the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. You'll have to sign up with the carrier, but otherwise, there are no special conditions or requirements for these discounts. The Pixel 9 Pro isn't currently discounted, but Spectrum does have its own trade-in program and will give you an extra $100 in credit on top of your device's value. See at Spectrum Mint Mobile is offering some big savings on the Pixel 9 series right now. The basic Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL are both $400 off, which brings the starting prices down to just $579 and $879, respectively. You can also save $350 on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which puts it in your pocket for just $1,629. People switching an existing number over to Mint Mobile can also get a year of unlimited data for just $15 per month, which is 50% off the usual price. You can also score extra savings via Mint Mobile's trade-in program. See at Mint Mobile Released in late 2023, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro were the latest phones in Google's flagship lineup until the release of the Pixel 9 this summer. The Pixel 8 and 8 Pro are equipped with a next-gen Tensor G3 processor, new AI features and improved screens. Right now, these models -- and deals on them -- are a little scarce, so what's available are mostly trade-in credit offers. For the time being, you can still purchase both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro from Google directly, with the former starting at $699 and the latter starting at $999. There aren't any special offers or discounts, but you can save hundreds when you trade in your old phone. Discounts will vary depending on your device's year, condition and configuration. The biggest savings are available from newer model iPhones, but as you likely won't choose to downgrade then realistically you'll probably be trading in an older model. That should net you a $100 to $300 discount. See at Google Store AT&T doesn't have any discounts or special offers, but it does still have the basic Pixel 8 in stock, and you can score some savings with an eligible trade-in. Unless you're looking to downgrade, the most you'll save is around $430, which is what you get for a maxed-out iPhone 14 Pro Max. Most older phones will net you around $200, and the discount is applied as bill credits over 36 months. Note that AT&T lists the phone for $40 more than Google's price. See at AT&T If you're after an unlocked model, Best Buy is offering $200 off the basic Pixel 8 and a whopping $400 off the Pixel 8 Pro, which drops the prices down to just $499 and $599 respectively. However, Best Buy also accepts old phones for up to $240 off, and you'll save $100 if you opt for same-day activation and sign up with either AT&T or Verizon. See at Best Buy The Pixel 8A is still the latest model in Google's affordable "A" lineup, and it's a tremendous value at just $500. That price gets even better if you take advantage of one of these offers. Google isn't offering any direct discount son the Google Pixel 8A. Those looking to join Google Fi Wireless will also get $499 back in bill credits over 36 months, effectively netting you the phone for free. Just note that this offer is only available to new Google Fi customers. See at Google Store Best Buy isn't currently offering any discounts on the Pixel 8A. If you're looking to sign up with either AT&T or Verizon, you'll get an $100 off when you opt for same-day activation. Best Buy also has its own trade-in program where you can save even more. See at Best Buy Unfortunately, AT&T doesn't have any special offers on the Pixel 8A at the moment. The carrier does have a trade-in program where you can score some savings in exchange for your old phone. Trade-in credit will depend on the model, year and condition of your device, but the most you're likely to get (unless you're looking to downgrade) is around $300. Discounts will be applied as bill credits over 36 months. See at AT&T Right now, T-Mobile is offering the Pixel 8A for $600 off if you add a new line on a qualifying plan; no trade-in is required. If you do have a phone to trade, those on a Go5G, Magenta or One plan can exchange it for up to $500 off. Either of these offers can net you the phone for free. Just note that only the obsidian black variant is in stock at the moment. See at T-Mobile The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro hit shelves back in October 2022, and they're getting pretty tough to find in stock. Below, we've rounded up the best offers still available to help you get one in your hands for less. Best Buy is sold out of the basic Pixel 7, but it does have the Pixel 7 Pro in stock. It's automatically discounted by $200, and you can save $100 more if you activate a new line through Verizon. You can save even more with Best Buy's trade-in program as well. See at Best Buy The Pixel Fold was Google's very first foldable device, and it's the predecessor to the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It features a 5.8-inch cover screen, a 7.6-inch OLED internal screen, 12GB of RAM, a Tensor G2 processor and an intimidating $1,799 starting price. It's getting pretty tough to find these original foldables in stock -- especially with a new model on the shelves. Right now there are no current deals, although you may be able to find a refurbished model at a decent price. It's almost impossible to find the original Pixel Fold in new condition these days, and even if you did, chances are you'd still be better off upgrading to the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold instead. If you have a special affinity for this 2023 foldable, you can find refurbished models available for around $448 at Back Market. See at Back Market Many of us here at CNET have covered deals on top tech for over five years, including cell phone deals from major brands like Apple, Google, Samsung, OnePlus and more.
