ADNEC wins Excellence in Strategic Supply Chain Partnership, Best Energy Management Initiative awards
18 Apr 2025 17:06 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD) ADNEC Group, a Modon company, has been awarded Best Energy Management Initiative at the 9th Annual Abu Dhabi Sustainable Business Leadership Awards, in recognition of its planned transformative rooftop solar project, which is set to reshape sustainable practices in the events and exhibitions winning initiative—a 5 MWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) system to be installed at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi serves as a fundamental element of ADNEC Group's net zero programme to achieve its goal to reduce emissions by 50% through 2030 while reaching complete carbon net-zero emissions by operational, the system is expected to generate significant renewable energy onsite, decreasing the Group's reliance on the electricity grid, while stabilising energy costs and eliminating more than 6,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. Morning of remembrance at 9th annual USMS fallen heroes honor run in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Law enforcement officers from across multiple agencies came together on Tuesday morning to run for a powerful cause, the 9th Annual U.S. Marshal Service (USMS) Fallen Heroes Honor Run. More than just a race, this 5K run was an opportunity to honor and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This year, the run carried even more significance, as participants took a moment to reflect on the tragic loss of four law enforcement officers who died on April 29, 2024. 12 honorees announced for 2025 Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman Awards
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Six women and six young woman are to be honored for the 9th Annual Virginia K. Shehee Most Influential Woman Awards. According to a press release, the event will be held at East Ridge Country Club on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mayor appoints new director of nonprofit Providence House Officials say this prestigious award is named after civic leader, businesswoman, and philanthropist Virginia K. Shehee, whose legacy of service continues to inspire Northwest Louisiana. Each year, numerous outstanding women are nominated, and a select group is chosen for their remarkable impact on the community. A total of twelve women will be honored across two categories: six for the Most Influential Woman Award and six for the Most Influential Young Woman Award. One honoree from each category will be named the Most Influential Woman and Most Influential Young Woman of 2025.
