IndiGo places order for another 30 wide-body A350 aircraft with Airbus: Pieter Elbers

announced that the airline has placed order for another 30 wide-body A350 aircraft with Airbus.
"We will continue to add one aircraft a week to double by the end of the decade," said the IndiGo CEO. Elbers added that the new orders will start coming in after the first batch of orders are delivered.
Previously, IndiGo announced that it has agreed to place an order for 30 Firm A350-900 aircraft, which will enable IndiGo to spread its wings further and expand its network. The aircraft will be powered by Rolls Royce's Trent XWB engine.

IndiGo, India's largest airline, posted a 62% on-year rise in
net profit
at ₹3,067 crore in the March quarter, fuelled by a travel boom due to the Maha Kumbh mela and wedding season. It was the second-highest quarterly profit for the budget airline. For the fiscal year ended March 31, IndiGo reported a 11% decline in net profit at ₹7,258 crore. The company's board announced a dividend of ₹10 per share.
