A46 to be shut for hours after lorry and van crash
Part of the A46 in Warwickshire is expected to be closed for several hours after a serious multi-vehicle crash involving a lorry and a van, National Highways has road has been shut southbound between the A45 for Coventry and the A452 for Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service have been working at the scene following the crash which happened at about 03:30 Highways said police investigations were taking place. Traffic has been diverted via local managers in Coventry warned of heavy traffic on the A45 in both directions approaching the Leamington Road A429 - which could have been a diversion route - is closed until the end of the month for HS2 works between the Gibbet Hill roundabout in Coventry and Crackley Lane in Kenilworth. HS2: Busy road linking Coventry to Kenilworth closes
A busy road linking Coventry to Kenilworth in Warwickshire will shut for a month for work to be carried out on the HS2 project. The A429 Kenilworth Road will close from Monday morning until Saturday 28 June to allow work on embankments, footpaths and utilities, said the company. It will then shut again from Monday 30 June to Sunday 20 July. It follows the recent closure of the nearby A46 Kenilworth Bypass to allow a 14,500-tonne box structure, which will carry the railway underneath, to be moved into place. Major A-road closed after huge lorry crashes & overturns – as drivers face long delays
DRIVERS on a major A-road are facing long delays following a huge lorry crash. The lorry has overturned on the A46 in Nottinghamshire. 1 The A46 is closed northbound between the A617 (Cattle Market Roundabout, near Newark) and the A1 at Winthorpe. The lorry overturned on the Brownhills Roundabout. Emergency services including Nottinghamshire Police are in attendance. National Highways contractors are also on scene providing assistance with traffic management.

Stretch of A46 near Newark closed after lorry overturns
A "complex recovery" operation is under way after a lorry overturned on a roundabout in A46 was closed northbound between the A617 near Newark and the A1 at Winthorpe late on Highways said the closure remained in place on Wednesday, and drivers were diverted away from the Brownhills are urged to "allow extra journey time" as a "complex recovery and clear-up operation is ongoing".
