Dean College hosts Women in Business Conference on March 28. Who's expected to speak

FRANKLIN — Dean College's Women in Business Club is preparing for its second annual Women in Business Conference, according to a community announcement. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 28, at the Guidrey Center, located inside the Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center, 99 Main St. This year's theme is "Finding Your Voice: Empowering Women to Lead with Confidence," according to the announcement. The conference is open to the public. 'We are so excited to have the opportunity to welcome inspiring guest speakers, entertaining student performances, and a forum for networking through our upcoming conference,' said Nora Rodas, a junior who serves as co-president of the Women in Business Club, in a statement. Guest speakers include Jennifer Moylan, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of AAM 15 Management, LLC; and Ilona Znakharchuk, founder and CEO of Solodko, a Boston catering business specializing in Ukrainian desserts and cakes. 'It's a great life, folks': Former Gov. Dukakis encourages Dean students to pursue politics Complimentary breakfast items and beverages will be available throughout the morning. The event will also feature student performances and networking opportunities. 'Our club strives to build a community on campus where women can come together to inspire each other, and this year's conference has been designed to do just that,' said Katelyn Davis, also a junior and co-president of the Women in Business Club, in a statement.
