WHNT's special ‘Veterans Voices: Honoring Our Veterans' wins ABBY for Public Affairs Program
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WHNT) — The WHNT News 19 crew took home some hardware from the 2025 Alabama Broadcasters Association Award Ceremony! In total, the News 19 crew won six awards.
News 19's 'Veterans Voices: Honoring Our Veterans' won the ABBY for Public Affairs Program!
Peyton and Ben attended the ABBYS and accepted the award on behalf of the whole team.
Named on this award were: Evening Anchor Ben Hoover, MMJ/Reporter Peyton Newman, Producer Ryan McGarty, News Operations Manager Shane Hays and Executive Producer David Williams.
