Kid Cudi Compares Diddy To A 'Marvel Supervillain' While Testifying About His Porsche Being Blown Up
Source: John Lamparski / Getty Much of Diddy's trial has been focused on his alleged sexual deviancy and abuse of his powerful influence within the industry. But while that streak, he also reportedly threatened other men who attempted to date Cassie Ventura, and that includes rapper Kid Cudi, who's the latest person to take the witness stand. Born Scott Mescudi, testified that he went on a few dates with Cassie while she was still with Diddy, and one time in 2011, she called him frantically. 'I got a call from Cassie around 5:30-6 a.m. She told me that Sean Combs had found out about us,' Cudi said, according to ABC NY . 'I was confused, but she asked me to pick her up. She sounded really stressed on the phone, scared, nervous.' He took her to West Hollywood's Sunset Marquis hotel, and while there, he received a call from Diddy's assistant informing him that they were at his home. The rapper hopped in his Porsche to drive home and called Diddy while on the way. 'I said, 'motherf-cker, you in my house?'' Cudi remembers asking. Cudi says Diddy replied, 'What's up?' 'Are you in my house? Cudi asked again. 'I just want to talk to you. I'm on my way over right now.' Upon arriving home, Cudi says a bunch of gifts he'd bought for his family were ripped open, his dog was locked in a bathroom, and his security cameras were moved. Cudi called Diddy again, who said he was on his way. He called the police to file a report because he didn't know 'who he has with him, what his intentions are.' Cudi says the harassing behavior continued the following year in 2012 when he picked up an early morning call from his dog sitter telling him that his Porsche was on fire. ABC reports that the jury was shown images of the destroyed car with a burnt interior and the melted driver's seat. Cudi also confirmed the damage himself, saying, 'The top of my Porsche was cut open. That's where they inserted the Molotov cocktail.' According to CNN , Cudi added that after the car incident, he met with Diddy, who claims he had no idea what happened to his Porsche, while 'standing there like a Marvel supervillain.' Cassie first mentioned Cudi's fiery car in her lawsuit and again when she testified that Diddy disapproved of their relationship and threatened to blow his car up while he was out of the country. Obama-Shaped Ecstasy Pills, Cassie's Mom Testifies, A Male Escort Named ‘The Punisher,' & More From Week 2 Of Diddy's Trial
Source: Variety / Getty As we move on to the second week of Diddy's sex trafficking and racketeering trial, new witnesses are being called to stand to testify on his alleged behavior. Former longtime girlfriend Cassie Ventura described the years of abuse she faced, and now her mother, Regina, is telling her side. During her testimony, which only lasted around 15 minutes, she testified that she got dragged into their relationship in December 2011 when she took photos of Cassie's battered back 'because she was bruised and I wanted to memorialize it.' She says that was the first time she learned that Diddy was physically abusive towards her daughter, and it was within days of receiving an email from Cassie that made her 'physically sick.' According to ABC NY , it described a warning from Diddy that he planned to release her sextape around Christmas time, another soon after, and mentioned the threat of harming Kid Cudi while he was out of the country. Diddy also requested $20,000 from Regina and her husband as a way to repay him for the money he invested in Cassie. So, she took a home equity line of credit on her home, and sent him the money, which was returned to her a few days later. She didn't undergo cross-examination, and the next to take the stand was Sharay Hayes, a male escort who was professionally known as 'The Punisher.' Hayes says he got the call in 2012 to head to Trump Tower on New York's Central Park West at the request of a woman named Janet, who he later learned was Cassie. Upon arrival for the sex party, he was asked to perform in a room with all the furniture covered in sheets and baby oil bottles in warm water. He was initially handed $800 and told not to look at Diddy, who was also sitting in the room naked, only wearing a veil covering his face. 'I was specifically told to not acknowledge her husband. Try not to look at him. No communication between me and him,' Hayes testified, according to CNN . After the deed was done, Cassie gave him an additional $1,200, and he'd make about a dozen other visits to fulfill their fantasies. He was cross-examined and told the defense team that Cassie didn't seem uncomfortable, and if she had, he wouldn't have performed. Other moments in court today came from Diddy's former personal assistant, David James, who witnessed the former mogul take pills, including Viagra, weight loss pills and sperm count supplements, according to TMZ . The most interesting was ecstasy, which James says was in the shape of former President Barack Obama's face. See social media's latest reactions to Diddy's ongoing case below. LI man sentenced to up to 25 years in wrong-way DWI crash that killed 2 teens
A Long Island businessman who admitted to being drunk and high on drugs in a wrong-way crash that killed two teens nearly two years ago has been sentenced to up to 25 years in prison. Amandeep Singh, of Roslyn, pleaded guilty last month to aggravated vehicular manslaughter and related charges in the deaths of eighth graders Ethan Falkowitz and Drew Hassenbein on May 2, 2023. On Friday, Judge Helene Gugerty sentenced him to 8 ⅓ to 25 years in prison. During the hearing, family members delivered emotional impact statements, urging the judge to give Singh the maximum sentence. 'Instead of picking up my son at school, I had to pick him up at the morgue. Instead of watching him use his tennis racket like a magic wand, I had to bury it with him,' Hassenbein's father said, according to the Long Island Press. 'You stole my heart and soul,' said Falkowitz's mother. Singh, a father of two, said he 'would never hurt a child intentionally and yet [he] did,' ABC NY reported. 'I apologize from the bottom of my heart for your loss,' he said when addressing the victims' families. The two teens, described by local media as tennis 'prodigies,' and 'stars,' were driving home from celebrating a high school tennis match win on the night of May 3, 2023, when Singh crashed his pickup truck into their car on North Broadway in Jericho. Prosecutors say the 36-year-old construction executive was driving his 2021 Dodge Ram TRX at approximately 95 miles per hour while intoxicated and high on cocaine when he crossed over the road and continued south in the northbound lane. He then crashed his 2021 Dodge Ram TRX into an Alfa Romeo with four kids inside. Falkowitz and Hassenbein were killed instantly. The two other teens were rushed to an area hospital with multiple injuries. Singh fled the scene but was arrested a short time later. He was found hiding near a dumpster in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center, according to the Nassau County District Attorney's Office.
