The night underscored the event's core message — that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life of meaning and joy. The evening featured a touching interview with ABLE2 program user Mark Evraire and his volunteer ally Daniel Spagnuolo. 'I went in fairly blindly,' Spagnuolo said of volunteering. 'But I certainly didn't expect to make a lifelong friend out of Mark, and I honestly couldn't be happier to have met him.'

CTV Ottawa's Patricia Boal hosted the event while Ottawa Charge athlete Stephanie Markowski, ABLE2's newest ambassador, donated a Super Fan Package for the silent auction. RBC Foundation capped the night by announcing a $20,000 gift.
