(NewsNation) — Chelsea Handler is trying to keep herself busy. The comedian hosted the Critics Choice Awards last week — and now she's headed out on the road to Europe on a stand-up tour with a suspiciously familiar name. Blake Lively's famous friends are silent as Justin Baldoni legal battle continues The tour is named 'A Broad Abroad' — a segment she once tried to use in her short-lived show, 'Chelsea Lately,' as a travel segment … and had to abandon as quickly as it was ideated as the trademark 'A Broad Abroad' (the name of a travel website I run as well as my solo female travel web series of the same name) was owned by yours truly. As Page Six noted when Handler first tried to rip me off: 'Chelsea Handler may be fighting for relevance on Netflix, but we still cannot ignore her audacious rip-off of Page Six alum Paula Froelich's 'A Broad Abroad' brand.' At the time, Handler told Page Six: 'I had no idea it was a thing. No need to cease and desist. I don't want to intentionally or unintentionally rip anyone off.' GMA hosts 'most hated in building,' ABC News could make more cuts: Source Handler must have had a change of heart when it comes to absconding with other people's ideas. As of now, a representative for Handler and her agent have not responded to requests for comment. Fans and critics alike are left wondering if Handler's latest venture is a creative risk or just another attempt to stay relevant in a competitive industry. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
