ScotRail fault causes major issues for Glasgow passengers

ScotRail passengers are facing significant disruption this morning due to a signal fault between Crossmyloof and Barrhead. The fault has led to delays and alterations to train services along the affected route. In a statement, ScotRail said: "Due to a signal fault between Crossmyloof and Barrhead, services are subject to delay and alteration. "Network Rail Scotland are heading to the scene and doing what they can to fix the problem. "Once we have more information from teams on the ground, we'll provide a further update." To help affected passengers, ScotRail has arranged replacement buses and alternative transport options. Additionally, an ACE Travel bus will depart from Glasgow Central Station at 10:55am, and a James Hilson bus is scheduled to leave Kilmarnock Station at 11:20am. Passengers are advised to check for updates before travelling and allow extra time for their journeys.
