SCCI strengthens partnerships to elevate management practices

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), represented by the Sharjah Training and Development Centre (STDC), successfully concluded its official tour to France, the UK, and the Kingdom of Spain. STDC's delegation was headed by Maryam Saif Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of the Support Services Sector at the Sharjah Chamber, and included Amal Abdullah Al Ali, Director of STDC, along with Dr Khaled Maqlad, Consultant for SMEs and Entrepreneurship Development at SCCI. During the tour, STDC signed nine cooperation and strategic partnership agreements with prestigious universities, academic and training institutions, and prominent official entities across France, the UK, and Spain. Notable institutions involved include the Granada Chamber of Commerce's School of Management, Kellogg College at the University of Oxford, Cambridge Training College Britain, and London Strategy Centre (LSC).These partnerships aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise, promote knowledge-sharing, and jointly develop innovative and globally accredited training and academic programs. The collaborations will focus on enhancing strategic leadership, business management practices, and executive leadership development. Maryam Al Shamsi reaffirmed the Sharjah Chamber's commitment to strengthening STDC's capabilities in delivering internationally accredited training programmes. She highlighted the strategic objective of establishing STDC as a leading global hub for advanced Al Ali emphasised the strategic partnerships established during the tour, reinforcing the Centre's ongoing efforts to strengthen global collaborations. In 2023, a fruitful collaboration with the School of Management at the Granada Chamber of Commerce led to the launch of the 'Strategic Business Leadership' programme. Meanwhile earlier the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) announced the launch of the 'Business Impact' Podcast during the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition 'ACRES 2025', organised by the Chamber in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) from January 22nd to 25th. The Podcast aims to highlight the importance of Sharjah as a strategic destination for business management and investment in the region. The podcast, to be released via Sharjah Chamber's social media platforms, featured local and international business owners and entrepreneurs who share their successful experiences in Sharjah. It discusses various economic issues and how businesses can benefit from the unique business environment Sharjah offers, including investment opportunities, government facilitation, and the role of the Chamber of Commerce in fostering economic growth. ACRES 2025 breaks records with AED 4.3 billion in deals

This marked an impressive growth of over 207 percent compared to last year's edition, while drawing more than 15,000 visitors. Impressive participation and deals at ACRES 2025 This year, the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition featured a remarkable record-breaking participation of over 110 exhibitors, representing major real estate development and investment companies and top-tier property developers from across the UAE and the region, alongside first-time participants drawn by the exhibition's prominent status and stellar reputation. The ACRES Exhibition also witnessed a significant turnout from real estate agents, brokers, banks and financial institutions, in addition to architectural design service providers, legal consultancy firms, security and safety solution providers, project management companies, and relevant government entities. The exhibition presented a diverse portfolio of real estate projects, from luxury residential units and modern villas to innovative commercial and industrial properties and land parcels. Launch of new projects and exclusive offers The 2025 edition also featured the official launch of several new and groundbreaking real estate projects, making their debut in the UAE and beyond. Exhibitors offered exclusive incentives on a diverse selection of properties, including flexible payment methods and attractive pricing, while also showcasing state-of-the-art developments that incorporate the latest technologies and contemporary architectural designs. Key remarks from SRERD and SCCI officials In his remarks, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), stated that Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition 'ACRES 2025' achieved remarkable milestones this year, with SRERD recording real estate transactions worth AED4.3 billion during the exhibition period. 'This reflects the vibrancy and sustained growth of the real estate sector in Sharjah and the UAE. SRERD successfully processed 2,505 initial and final sales transactions during the exhibition, underscoring the heightened investor confidence in the real estate market,' he said. In his remarks, Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, emphasised that the success of this year's Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition 'ACRES' solidified its position as one of the most significant real estate events in the UAE and the region. He noted that the exhibition played a key role in highlighting the thriving real estate market in the emirate of Sharjah. He also acknowledged the positive impact of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC)'s decision to lower registration fees on sales and purchase transactions conducted during the exhibition this year. This strategic move contributed to a significant increase in both visitor and investor turnout, while encouraging developers to showcase their most innovative and flagship new projects at the exhibition.
