Any male singer born after 2006, regardless of their nationality, will be eligible to participate. They will be accepting participants with different skills, including singing, dancing, acting, rapping, songwriting, vlogging, photography and others. Both individual and group applications will be considered for auditions. In an official statement, the agency stated, 'We hope to see many talented individuals knock on the door toward their dreams." Successful applicants from the first round will proceed to the second round, where they will have to give in-person auditions. These auditions will take place in nine cities across South Korea, including Seoul, Daegu, Jeonju, Busan, Daejeon, Gwangju, Chuncheon, Wonju and Jeju, and 18 cities globally, including New York, Sydney, Toronto, Tokyo, Singapore and Los Angeles, among others. ADOR's announcement was met with severe criticism and backlash on social media. One fan humorously noted, 'The concept…do they want to debut new trousers or something?"
