Darby Allin Comments On Reaching Summit Of Mount Everest
Darby Allin successfully completed his attempt to climb Mount Everest. AEW star Darby Allin reached the summit of the mountain, which sits at an elevation of 29,032 feet, on Sunday. AEW acknowledged the climb by sharing the following post: Darby Allin commemorated his trek by planting an AEW flag at the top of the mountain. He later posted the following message on Instagram, thanking AEW and his climbing team for their respective roles in his impressive journey: Advertisement 'Mount Everest summit. Allin's post also included him holding an AEW flag at the top of the mountain along with a video showing his perspective on top of the peak. Darby Allin's climb of Mount Everest is months in the making Darby Allin began his climb of Mt. Everest on April 8, 2025, and he had been training for the ascent for several months. Allin's group began their climb in Nepal, and he set a world record for the highest elevation kickflip during the ascent. Advertisement This is actually Allin's second attempt at making the climb, as he planned to do it in 2024. However, a broken foot sustained during a match with Jay White in March 2024 caused his trip to be delayed until this year. Allin will now return home after completing his descent, and will likely need a few weeks' recovery time before he ends up back on AEW TV. AEW originally had plans for Darby Allin on AEW TV this month, but that does not look like he'll be back in time for it to happen. Congratulations, Darby Allin! Jack Perry Isn't On AEW TV, He's Home Making Knives Out Of Pine Cones
Former AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry is now making knives out of pine cones at home during his absences. Last year, Jack Perry appeared regularly on AEW TV as a member of The Elite. Joining the faction helped him win the TNT Title. However, after he lost the title to Daniel Garcia at AEW Full Gear. Since the loss, he has stopped showing up on AEW shows. Even though he hasn't been on TV, he wrestled a few matches in NJPW. Advertisement His most recent match was in January at Wrestle Dynasty, a crossover event between NJPW, CMLL, and AEW. He faced Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title. Despite a strong effort, Perry came up short in the match. Recently, Perry gave fans an update through Instagram, showing that he's been spending time at home making custom knives out of pine cones. Perry has shown off his artistic skills in the past, as he made his own custom version of the TNT Championship during his reign in 2024. Perry showed a step-by-step process of making the knives, including the blades and the custom pine cone handles set in resin.
