JSS Private School's AI Program empowers educators and parents with future skills
In a trailblazing move towards fostering AI literacy, the AI Committee of JSS Private School successfully concluded the AI Readiness Program for Educators and Parents (AIREP) — a transformative initiative designed to equip educators and parents with the skills to navigate an AI-driven future.
This three-week immersive programme, hosted on Microsoft Teams, provided a flexible, self-paced learning experience, covering fundamental AI concepts, ethical considerations, popular AI platforms, and real-world applications.
With live Q&A sessions, interactive assessments, and practical insights, participants gained hands-on expertise to seamlessly integrate AI-driven tools into modern education. What set AIREP apart was its inclusive approach, inviting parents and teachers to collaborate and learn alongside students, reinforcing a reverse-engineering community learning model.
The overwhelming participation and engagement from all stakeholders underscored the collective commitment to embracing AI for enriched educational experiences.
The programme also featured an inspiring alumni panel, with distinguished graduates of JSSPS sharing their industry insights. Their presence elevated discussions, offering real-world perspectives and igniting aspirations among participants, further bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry applications.
