The Philadelphia Phillies, in partnership with Asplundh, raised $800,004 to support ALS research and patient services during ALS Awareness Night on June 9, 2025. The event took place at Citizens Bank Park during the team's game against the Chicago Cubs.A key portion of the funds raised came from an on-field donation of $365,000 by Asplundh, the presenting sponsor of the evening. The donation was made in honor of former Asplundh Chairman and CEO Scott Asplundh, who is currently living with ALS. The Phillies Charities online auction, a 50/50 drawing, autographed memorabilia grab bags sponsored by Hatfield Quality Meats, and a Theme Night ticket package all contributed to the fundraising organization also recently hosted the Phantastic Auction, with proceeds partially directed toward ALS-related initiatives.
