How Priyanka Chopra Is Supporting Nick Jonas' Broadway Return

Nick Jonas is spreading his wings and returning to the Broadway stage.
And as Nick, 32, and Adrienne Warren took the stage March 18 for the first night of previews for The Last Five Years, he had wife Priyanka Chopra cheering him on.
"So proud of you @nickjonas," The 42-year-old wrote March 18 on her Instagram Story along with a black-and-white photo of the stage, "performances start tonight!!!"
Priyanka followed it up with a snap of her Playbill, adding, "First preview."
The show, which first premiered in 2001 before being turned into a movie starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan in 2014, marks the member's return to Broadway 13 years after starring in the revival of the How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2012.
But as Nick returns to the Broadway stage, Priyanka, who shares daughter Malti, 3, with her husband of five years, isn't the only family member showing their support.

Indeed, joining her during Nick's opening night were his brothers and bandmates and Joe Jonas. Kevin wrote, "Let's get it @nickjonas," along with a photo of the stage on his Instagram Story, while Joe shared a photo of a signed sheet of music from the show.
Nick has expressed his gratitude for his family's support throughout the process—and even hinted when he expected them to see the show.
'My family will join me for some of this which will be nice,' he told E! News in February. 'And obviously on opening night I think the brothers will come out, and my parents. Having that support is key, especially when you're doing a project that's as intense as this.'
As for what it means to have his brothers and Priyanka cheering him on, he added, 'It just really helps ground you and gives you the sort of peace that you need to step into something that is so intense and requires so much of you—not just the work you do on stage, but the emotional part of this as well.'
