Dancing with the ARC competition raises funds for ARC of Monroe
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The third annual 'Dancing with the ARC' competition returned to Innovative Field fundraising for the ARC of Monroe, a group dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Five local Rochester celebrities teamed up with five folks supported by the program to put their skills to the test on stage.
The dancing duos went through weeks of rehearsals and preparation to perform a routine for a panel of judges.
Each dance had its own theme from the musical 'Wiked' to the songs of Justine Timberlake.
The event also included choreographers and costume designers to help the couples practice their moves and look fabulous on stage.
On that stage News 8's Gio Battaglia partnered with Georgana Morsch to perform their Taylor Swift themed dance.
Gio and Georgana nabbed the Fantastic Footwork Award! Congratulations to them both!
