It's surrounded by Glencore and Peabody mines, so infrastructure is top-notch. Yari plans to start drilling soon, aiming for semi-soft metallurgical coal, and the deal includes a 19.9% shareholding and performance rights for a bigger resource. Yari's CEO Anthony Italiano says it's primed for growth with big exploration upside. Telehealth company MedAdvisor (ASX:MDR) has received a non-binding letter of intent (LOI) from a major multinational software company to buy its ANZ business division for cash. The offer is confidential for now, but MedAdvisor reckons it's well above its current share price. The deal is part of MedAdvisor's strategy to close the gap between its market value and what it thinks it's really worth. MedAdvisor's ANZ business pulled in a record $2.9 million in April. TMK Energy (ASX:TMK) is eagerly awaiting the onset of gas flows at the Gurvantes XXXV coal seam gas project, where pressure levels are approaching critical desorption requirements. The company says the well is already beginning to produce gas, meaning some of the coals are already at the desired pressure. Targeting an initial mineral resource for early to mid-2026, Terrain Minerals (ASX:TMX) is poised to begin resource expansion drilling at the Lightning and Monza prospects within the Smokebush gold project. The company is targeting some promising areas that have already revealed solid gold and silver mineralisation, up to 11m at 6.03 g/t gold and 43.5 g/t silver from 75m. Closing Bell: Gold shines bright despite minor market dip

ASX Gold Index leads gains, up more than 4pc Energy sector in the green despite 2pc oil price fall Tech index bucks Nasdaq's trend to rise 0.8pc It's been a rollercoaster of a day on the ASX, with the bourse swinging wildly up and down throughout the day before settling marginally down, dipping 0.08%. Despite falls in oil and iron ore prices overnight, a 2.5% uptick in the gold price made waves. Perhaps our market had already priced-in the current oil outlook, because Energy stocks are up today, gaining almost a full percentage point alongside the Materials sector. The indices are certainly telling a story – the ASX All Ords Gold index has climbed more than 4.3%, the Small Ords (which is very resources heavy) more than 1% and the ASX200 Resources index tipped up 0.69%. That's given plenty of fuel for gold stocks to rise. Leaving small caps aside for now, Pantoro Gold (ASX:PNR) gained 11.83%, Resolute Mining (ASX:RSG) 10.4%, Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) 10.19%, Ora Banda Mining (ASX:OBM) 6.47%, Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) 7.14% and Ramelius Resources (ASX:RMS) 6.87%. In fact, the gold miners were so dominant today they didn't leave a lot of room for other stocks to take the spotlight. Notable exceptions are immunotherapy biotech Immutep (ASX:IMM) which gained 9%, automotive stock Autosports Group (ASX:ASG) up 9.76%, gambling giant Tabcorp Holdings (ASX:TAH) which lifted 9.2% alongside the Star Group's (ASX:SGR) 9.52% gain, and technology large cap NextDC (ASX:NXT) up 8.14%. Overall, the market has taken a minor loss, with seven sectors in the green and four in the red. The Healthcare sector weighed heavily on the bourse, down 1.86%. The hole ended in even higher grades, still open at depth. The company says it's one of the best copper hits globally in decades, and is planning more drilling to chase it further. More assays are on the way, with a maiden JORC resource in the works. Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) fronted the RIU Resources Conference with a cracking pitch on its gold-copper hunt in NSW's Lachlan Fold Belt, one of Australia's hottest mineral districts. It's sitting on a big district-scale land position at its Spur project, 100% owned, right near majors like Newmont and Gold Fields, with solid hits already in the bag including 11m at 10.8g/t gold and nearly 200m at 0.54% copper equivalent. Waratah reckons it's only just getting started in what's shaping up to be a prime gold-copper postcode. Somerset Minerals (ASX:SMM) has just wrapped up the acquisition of the high-grade Coppermine Project in Nunavut, right next door to White Cliff's monster copper hit at Danvers. It now controls a massive 1,200km² landholding packed with historical copper finds, including grades up to 45.4% copper, and is gearing up to launch its maiden drill campaign in just a couple of weeks. Early targets at Coronation are looking juicy, the company said, with reprocessed geophysics lighting up multiple anomalies, and old drill holes that ended in mineralisation. Green Critical Minerals (ASX:GCM) is enjoying increased offtake attention around its very high density graphite technology, including formal requests for product samples from a leading European and UK based thermal management solutions provider. The company says the uptick in attention is a validation of their product's commercial potential, aligning with market needs in electronics, defence, and high-efficiency manufacturing sectors. Closing Bell: Uranium surges on tariff exemption whispers; ASX rides energy wave higher

ASX uranium stocks have soared after the US administration flagged U3O8 would be included in tariff exemption list Energy sector up more than 2pc, with Small Ords index close behind Utilities, Info Tech, Resources, Real Estate sectors all up more than 1pc Assurances from the US administration that uranium will be included in an upcoming list of tariff exemptions has given stocks dealing in the yellowcake mineral a welcome boost. Small cap Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) is one of the best performing stocks on the ASX today, lifting 13.75% to $3.185 a share. The uranium producer's core focus is the Honeymoon uranium project in South Australia, where it expects to produce 850k pounds of uranium in the 2025 financial year. Micro caps Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) and Energy Resources of Australia (ASX:ERA) outperformed even Boss in terms of percentage gain (up 45% and 33.33% respectively), also enjoying attention from the uranium bulls. Boss and ERA are joined by Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) up 12.86%, Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) up 15.15%, Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL) up 12.44%, and Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) with a 9.2% gain. It's difficult to judge the effect on uranium's pricing, however, as its not traded openly on the market like other commodities, but rather directly between producers and end users in private long-term contracts. The effect on the wider Aussie market, on the other hand, was obvious. The ASX has gained almost a full percentage point today, lifting 0.92%. The ASX Small Ords Index is up more than 2%, and the ASX 200 Resources close behind with a more than 1.5% lift. The optimism appears to have carried over into the rest of the market, with 10 of 11 sectors in the green, although Consumer Staples (-0.03%) held the class back. Behind Energy, the Utilities and Info Tech sectors also enjoyed sizable gains, lifting 2.29% and 1.45% each. Standouts included Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) up 3.15% and AGL Energy (ASX:AGL) with a 2.09% boost. There was a 1.17% uptick for Wisetech (ASX:WTC), 1.05% for Xero (ASX:XRO), 1.45% for Technology One (ASX:TNE) and NextDC (ASX:NXT) rounded out the tech big caps with a 2.19% gain. All to say, the ASX is on a bit of a tear at the moment, hovering around two-month highs after posting its fourth straight day of gains. Of course, the bourse is still down 1.08% for the year to date, and the trade war that caused all the chaos is far from over, but for now things are looking up. Speaking of which, here are today's small cap movers and shakers on the Aussie market. A fresh look at old drill data has uncovered high-grade gallium right from surface, with some hits showing eye-popping grades over long stretches. One standout drill hole pulled 74 metres at over 93 g/t gallium, including a spike at 310 g/t. DY6 said less than half the area has been drilled, and the gallium keeps going deeper, hinting there's plenty more below. Gallium is hot property right now thanks to demand in electronics and semiconductors, and most of the global supply is stitched up by China. DY6's still running tests, but early signs point to a potentially serious play, and the market will be watching closely when results land in the coming weeks. Joining in on the uranium bull run, Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) jumped 45% on release of its quarterly report, which included some promising uranium exploration results within the company's Namibian assets. Trench sampling at the Etango North-East prospect generated results of up to 46m at 506 ppm uranium, with grades peaking at 1m at 5,413 ppm U3O8. InteliCare (ASX:ICR) is teaming up with Mecwacare to trial its smart care tech at the Trescowthick Centre in Prahran, Victoria. Mecwacare is a major aged care player in Victoria, and InteliCare's AI-powered platform is part of its push to become a tech-savvy leader in aged and disability care. The trial will run for three months once the system's fully set up, and if it goes well, Mecwacare could look to expand it across all 22 of its aged care homes. The deal's worth $212k for now.
