DJ Khaled Receives Bizarre 'RIP Drake' Coffin Delivered To His Florida Home

DJ Khaled received a mysterious and chilling delivery at his Florida mansion this week, adding to murmurs of tension between him and longtime collaborator Drake. On Saturday (Feb. 15), a black coffin bearing the ominous words 'RIP OVO' and 'RIP Drake' in bold white lettering was dropped off outside Khaled's Miami residence, TMZ reports. According to a police report, two unidentified men, dressed as delivery workers, managed to gain access to the property before placing the bizarre prop at the We The Best music producer's gate. Adding to the strange incident, the culprits reportedly knelt in prayer before the casket, which also featured an upside-down cross. Images of the unsettling delivery quickly spread across social media, fueling speculation about its intended message. Meanwhile, Khaled's security team wasted no time disposing of the coffin. The Grammy-winner wasn't the only one to receive an eerie delivery recently, as Tekashi 6ix9ine too, received a coffin with the words 'RIP King Von' emblazoned across it. The wild encounter comes at a time when tension between Khaled and Drake appears to be simmering amid the OVO boss' ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. Earlier this month, the producer teased his upcoming album Aalam Of God with a cinematic trailer, hinting that Drizzy would be making an appearance. 'FYI…DRAKE'S BACK TO WORK,' Khaled declared in one post, before doubling down with, 'SO AM I THIS THE ONE WITH THE [TWO] DRAKE'S.' However, the 6 God was quick to shut down the teaser with a cryptic response. 'Must be Drake Bell,' he commented—referencing the Nickelodeon star and seemingly distancing himself from Khaled. He later deleted the remark, leaving fans to continue to fuel rumors of a potential fallout. Reportedly, authorities have no interest in pursuing the incidents. Drake Seemingly Declines Being Featured On DJ Khaled's Forthcoming Album ‘Aalam Of God'

Drake has spent the last few months reflecting on fake friends and people who turned on him during, or since, his 2024 rap beef with Kendrick Lamar. Based on his response to DJ Khaled saying he was featured on his upcoming album, the 49-year-old producer might be one of those people. Khaled had been pretty silent over the last year, but he popped out to announce his forthcoming LP Aalam Of God this week. In typical fashion, he was as dramatic as ever with a seven-minute cinematic trailer teasing Drizzy features, another '100 bar' verse from JAY-Z, and his attempt at securing another Rihanna placement. While Khaled's albums tend to be hit or miss, fans typically welcome them because they know he will always have new music from the 6 God. However, this may be the first album in a while that the Toronto superstar won't appear on, per his comment on the promotional Instagram post. 'Must be @drakebell,' he wrote on Khaled's post with an emoji showing a face without a mouth. Colloquially, that is often used in a petty way or to signify somebody has more they could say, but are not at the moment. Drake's comment might have been taken as a joke until DJ Khaled's next move: deleting his album announcement everywhere. This has led to fans wondering what the Miami luminary may have done to the For All The Dogs rapper behind the scenes, especially since he was walking around his shows in 2023 promoting that he had two new Drake songs on his next album. If this is truly the end of the road for Drake and DJ Khaled, they have already given Hip-Hop fans more than enough classics. Over the last 15 years, they released 'I'm On One,' 'For Free,' 'No New Friends,' 'Popstar,' and more. On Khaled's last album, God Did from 2022, the five-time Grammy winner appeared on 'No Secret' and 'Staying Alive' featuring Lil Baby. Watch the 'Staying Alive' music video below.
