A supernatural horror film was release in 2002 that was directed by Vikram Bhatt, produced by Mukesh Bhatt, Kumar S. Taurani and Ramesh S. Taurani. The movie became superhit and was declared blockbuster by Box Office India. With a budget of Rs 50 Million, the movie earned Rs 370 million, seven times more than the cost.
The film featured Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu and they received so much love after the film released. Dino also revealed that the movie's profit even surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Devdas, which also released in the same year. Even Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film's budget was Rs 50 crore, but it earned only Rs 168 crore.
The movie in question is Raaz. Dino Morea in an interview said, 'We got only two awards and nothing for the songs. The songs of the film are the most famous and people still listen to them but the songs did not get any awards. 'Jo Bhi Kasme', 'Aapke Pyar Mein' did not get a single award. We got the award for the new pair, Bipasha and I got the award for best debut etc., but Raj's songs did not get any award.'
Raaz is a horror movie in which Dino and Bipasha play a couple, Aditya and Sanjana, who travel to Ooty to fix their relationship. But things take a terrifying turn when they discover that their new house is haunted.
