‘We need to stand firm': Anthony Albanese under fire amid China visit

Liberal MP Aaron Violi discusses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's conduct on his visit to China relating to issues like the Port of Darwin and Chinese live-fire exercises off the coast of Australia earlier this year. 'There are significant advantages to our relationship with China … there are benefits economically,' Mr Violi told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio. 'We should never sell out our country, or our national interests, and we need to stand firm. 'It appears the Prime Minister has not done that when it comes to the Port of Darwin.'

Coalition's ‘red line, non-negotiables' on Labor's controversial super tax proposal

Liberal MP Aaron Violi has outlined the Coalition's two 'red line, non-negotiables' when it comes to Labor's controversial superannuation tax proposal. This comes as Labor needs to do a deal in the Senate to get its super tax proposal passed.

The Liberal party is ‘aware' of their lack of preference agreements with other parties

Liberal MP Aaron Violi says the Liberal Party is 'aware' of the preference flows and how they influence the outcome of an election. Mr Violi claims there is an 'unofficial agreement' between Labor and the Greens, which Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will 'never admit'. 'In no way that we are saying that the voting system is the reason that we're in Opposition and that we got the result that we got,' Mr Violi told Sky News host Peta Credlin. 'We need to ultimately … put forward great policies that are going to increase our primary. 'It has been an ongoing challenge for us.'
