When Adarsh reached the location, Aayush, along with his three friends, asked him to take a seat inside the car.
The victim told police that Aayush and his friends forced him to get the fuel tank filled and moved from one place to another throughout the night. On the morning of May 31, they took him to a house and asked him to rest. In the afternoon, they took him to another place in Kaushambi by car and switched off his mobile.
The kidnappers also asked him to arrange Rs 20,000 and threatened serious consequences if he dared to escape.
They also forced him to smoke a cigarette laced with sedative, and as a result, he was left unconscious.
The victim also told police that when he came to his senses, he found the car parked near a hotel in Manjhanpur. The kidnappers had stayed in two rooms in the hotel. However, the hotel authorities caught the youth while making efforts to escape from their custody by jumping off the window of the hotel. The hotel authorities then called the police, and the cops managed to arrest all four kidnappers.
The kidnappers confessed to executing the kidnapping of the delivery boy for three days out of greed for money.
