Headmaster denies using fake documents for contribution

KOTA KINABALU (April 23): A headmaster pleaded not guilty in a Sessions Court here on Wednesday to two counts of using forged documents to obtain a contribution from the Chief Minister four years ago.
Abdul Rasad Sadikir @ Sadikil, 56, who appeared before judge Jason Juga, was charged under Section 471 of the Penal Code, punishable under Section 465 of the same Code.
The two charges stated that Abdul Rasad had allegedly used the fake bank statements to cheat for the construction of the Persatuan Komuniti Anak Banggi administrative office in Kampung Karakit Banggi, Kudat.
The alleged offences were committed at the Sabah State Ministry of Finance, Block C, Menara Kinabalu, Jalan Teluk Likas, Tanjung Lipat, Kota Kinabalu, between April and July 2021.
His case will be mentioned back on June 12.
Abdul Rasad, who was unrepresented, was released on court's bail, which was the same bail for his other four similar cases at the same court.
The said cases against him were heard in court on May 21, 2024.
