Distribution of medicines & medical supplies to 58 health facilities in Taiz
Taiz - Saba: The Health and Environment Office in Taiz province distributed on Sunday medicines and medical supplies to 58 health facilities as part of the Human Capital Project and the GAVI Project, with support from UNICEF. The distribution targeted health facilities in the districts of Al-Ta'iziyah, Mawiyah, Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah, Shar'ab As-Salam, Salah, Maqbanah, Al-Masrakh, Hayfan, Sabr Al-Mawadim, As-Salu, Sami', and Al-Mawasit. Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakel, Director General of the Health and Environment Office in the province, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the medicines and supplies will contribute to improving the level of healthcare services, alleviating the suffering of patients unable to afford medication costs. He praised the efforts and support of the Ministry of Health and the local authorities in the province for the health sector in the districts, aiming to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens. Improving Health Services in Taiz
Taiz (Saba) – Today's meeting, which included the Director of the Health and Environment Office in Taiz Governorate, Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakel, and the Dutch MSF project coordinator in Taiz, Yvonne Bojala, discussed ways to enhance cooperation to support the improvement of health services in the governorate. During the meeting, Al-Mutawakel praised MSF's role in providing support to improve medical services and humanitarian relief, stressing the governorate's local authorities' keenness to provide the necessary facilities to ensure the organization's continued work in the governorate.
