Egypt: Acrow Misr's consolidated profits drop 50.4% YoY in Q1 2025
Arab Finance: Acrow Misr for Scaffolding and Formwork (ACRO) reported a 50.4% year-on-year (YoY) decrease in consolidated net profits after tax and minority interest in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 to EGP 196.682 million from EGP 396.573 million, the company's financial indicators showed. The company's revenues climbed to EGP 1.271 billion in the three months to March 31st from EGP 893.665 million in the same period a year earlier. As for standalone results, net profits after tax dropped to EGP 158.389 million in Q1 2025, compared to EGP 327.359 million in Q1 2024. Acrow Misr sees higher consolidated profits in 2024; revenues hit $84mln
Cairo – Acrow Misr for Scaffolding and Formwork achieved consolidated net profits after tax amounting to EGP 1.14 billion in 2024, up from EGP 344.36 million in 2023. Revenues from contracts with customers hit EGP 4.31 billion last year, versus EGP 2.55 billion in 2023, according to the financial results. Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) hiked year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 18.63 at the end of December 2024 from EGP 5.42. Standalone Financials Acrow Misr posted higher standalone net profits after tax at EGP 928.85 million as of 31 December 2024, compared to EGP 332.23 million in 2023. Non-consolidated basic and diluted EPS jumped to EGP 14.87 in 2024 from EGP 5.27 a year earlier. Meanwhile, the revenues soared to EGP 3.86 billion from EGP 2.07 billion. EGX sees main indices barely holding onto the green zone amid Foreign selling
Cairo – March 10, 2025: The Egyptian Stock Exchange ended today's trading session on Monday with a collective rise in the indices. Benchmark index EGX 30 closed with an increase of 0.02 percent, at a level of 31,125.5 points, with the Shariah index slipping 0.19 percent to reach 3,317.09 points. EGX 70 inched upwards by 0.03 percent to reach 8,620.32 points, EGX 100 climbing up 0.11 percent to end the session with 11,969.41 points. Monday trading reported over 1.181 billion shares exchanged with a turnover of LE 3.332 billion. Market capitalization was recorded at LE 2.2891 trillion. Trading on securities saw Egyptian and Arab investors as net buyers with LE 1.3 million and LE 137.2 million, respectively. Foreign traders were net sellers with LE 138.5 million. Individual investors accounted for 68.75 percent of total market trading, while institutional investors made up 31.24 percent. The top gains of the session were by Minapharm Pharmaceuticals which surged by 14.45 percent, Acrow Misr by 10.35 percent, and Upper Egypt Flour Mills by 6.48 percent. The largest losses were by Asek Company for Mining – Ascom which fell by 5.52 percent, and El Ahram Co. For Printing And Packing by 3.7 percent.
