Zydus receives EIR with VAI classification from USFDA for Dabhasa API facility

Zydus Lifesciences has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the USFDA for its API manufacturing facility at Dabhasa, near Vadodara. The inspection, conducted from April 21 to April 25, 2025, has been classified as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) . The USFDA has officially marked the inspection status as 'closed.' This development indicates that while some observations were made, no further regulatory action is required at this time. The receipt of EIR strengthens the company's regulatory standing and supports its commitment to global compliance standards. This disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Zydus Lifesciences Q4 results Zydus Lifesciences reported a marginal drop in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 2025, with consolidated net profit at ₹1,171 crore, slightly lower than ₹1,182 crore in the same quarter last year. However, revenue from operations rose 18% year-on-year to ₹6,528 crore, compared to ₹5,538 crore in Q4 FY24, reflecting strong growth in its core business lines. Total income increased to ₹6,608 crore from ₹5,902 crore a year ago, while profit before tax stood at ₹1,672 crore, nearly unchanged from ₹1,684 crore in the corresponding quarter. The company's total expenses rose to ₹4,717 crore, up from ₹4,112 crore in Q4 FY24, largely due to higher input and operational costs. For the full fiscal year FY25, Zydus posted a revenue of ₹22,574 crore, up from ₹19,021 crore in the previous year. Net profit for the year reached ₹4,525 crore, compared to ₹3,853 crore in FY24.
