'People' crowns Demi Moore World's Most Beautiful of 2025
While the 'Substance' star may have lost her first Oscars race, 'People' has crowned her the World's Most Beautiful of 2025. Photo: Demi Moore/Instagram There's no one Moore beautiful than Dem! While the Substance star may have lost her first Oscars race, People has crowned her the World's Most Beautiful of 2025. Demi Moore, 62, who last month lost the best actress Academy Award to Anora star Mikey Madison, opened up about her life and being catapulted back into the zeitgeist in People's World's Most Beautiful 2025 issue. Though her life is now 'peaceful – and free,' Moore shared that fame has 'put me through the wringer.' 'Not unlike what The Substance is and why they made the character an actor,' she said of the body horror film, which centres on a former starlet who goes to physical extremes to avoid being aged out of relevance. 'It really forced me to address my issues of self-judgement and lack of appreciation.' The About Last Night star admitted she used to 'torture' her body and do 'crazy things' in the name of vanity, like cycling the 26 miles (41.8km) from Malibu 'all the way to Paramount.' Now, Moore believes her 80-year-old self would tell her present self to 'take care of us.' 'Don't take this body for granted,' said Moore, who last week also landed on the Time100. It's been nearly a year since The Substance premiered at Cannes, and Moore likened the experience to 'a full pregnancy – really joyous moments, exhausting moments. 'I had no idea what might happen with this film,' said Moore, who this year nabbed her first Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards. 'And I certainly could never have imagined it unfolding the way that it did.' – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service View this post on Instagram A post shared by People Magazine (@people)

Selena Gomez's Oscars look was made with over 16,000 drops of glass
Selena Gomez is no stranger to old Hollywood glamour, having wowed awards season with a succession of stunningly chic retro-inspired outfits. At Sunday's Oscars, the 'Emilia Perez' star opted for another classic look, arriving on the red carpet in an off-the-shoulder custom Ralph Lauren number with an impressive detail: over 16,000 drops of glass and hand-sewn Rosemont crystals arranged into a lattice pattern. The dress was made by a team of 12 Italian artisans who airbrushed the glass to achieve a pink ombré finish that shimmered with each movement. Gomez completed the look with a peachy nude lip and a wavy bob, as well as a dazzling diamond choker and drop earrings. The star's stylist, Erin Walsh, told E! News that the pair were looking to channel 'movie star magic' and were inspired by Sophia Loren, one of Italy's most famous actresses. Gomez and Walsh even consulted the Hollywood icon's former tailor while planning the look, the stylist revealed. On a glamorous night at LA's Dolby Theatre, the standout look was one of several that were dripping in sparkling embellishments. During a performance for the Academy's 'James Bond' tribute, Doja Cat sparkled in a custom Swarovski gown made using over one million crystals. Lily-Rose Depp wore a plunging custom lacy black halter dress by Chanel that featured about 191,000 embroidery elements, including black sequins, crystals and pearls. And Ariana Grande, whose stunning Schiaparelli gown — recently seen on the label's Spring-Summer 2025 Haute Couture runway — came alive with over 190,000 crystal sequins, rhinestones and cut beads. Gowns in blush pink shades were also trending on the evening's carpet. Gomez arrived at the award show with fiance Benny Blanco in tow, before co-presenting the Best Documentary Short Film and Best Documentary Feature categories alongside Samuel L. Jackson. Her film 'Emilia Perez' was nominated for 13 Oscars, including Best Picture, but only saw two wins — for Best Supporting Actress (Zoe Saldaña) and Best Original Song (for 'El Mal'). The actress has been among the 2025 awards season's best-dressed. Just last week she appeared at the Screen Actors Guild awards in a romantic Celine gown, and at January's Golden Globes, she described her light blue Prada gown as 'Cinderella meets Jackie O' to E!.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet spotted kissing at Oscars after she skipped SAG Awards
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were caught locking lips during a steamy scene before the 2025 Oscars awards ceremony Sunday. In pictures taken inside the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, show the pair — who have been linked since January 2023 — lovingly staring into each other's eyes before moving in for a kiss. The duo's intimate moment comes minutes after the 29-year-old actor posed solo on the red carpet in a pale yellow Givenchy suit. Jenner, 27, on the other hand, opted out of the pre-show, paparazzi spectacle. While Chalamet's attendance at the 97th annual show was mostly guaranteed considering he's nominated for his performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, many were unsure whether the beauty mogul would accompany him after she was noticeably absent from the Screen Actors Guild awards last weekend. Jenner's longtime hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero suddenly died at the age of 34 in the days leading up to the SAG ceremony. Guerrero — whose list of clients also included Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez — was confirmed dead on February 22 in a GoFundMe page started by his sister Gris Guerrero. The Kylie Cosmetics founder broke her silence in an Instagram tribute posted to her page three days later. 'Jesus was more than my friend - he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,' she wrote. 'I don't know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter. 'Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable and I don't know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love,' she continued. 'And I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will,' Jenner said. 'Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I'll cherish all our moments together. every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours. 'I would give anything for one more deep talk. I'm going to miss you so much more than any words can say. 222 my angel,' she finished. Citing sources, People reported that Jenner will be paying for Guerrero's funeral to help support his family. 'Jesus' death hit her hard. She is shocked and very upset,' one insider reportedly told the outlet. 'Still, she's doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially. 'As upset as she feels, she knows it's so much worse for his family. She doesn't want them to stress about money,' the source continued. 'She's taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral.'

Kieran Culkin wins SAG Award, solidifying Oscar frontrunner status for Best Supporting Actor
Kieran Culkin has further cemented his dominance in the awards season by winning Best Supporting Actor at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, making him the clear frontrunner for the Oscars 2025. Culkin triumphed over strong contenders, including Jonathan Bailey (Wicked), Jeremy Strong (The Apprentice), and Edward Norton (A Complete Unknown), securing yet another major accolade ahead of the Academy Awards. With this win, Culkin now boasts victories at all the key precursor events, including the Golden Globes, BAFTA, Critics Choice, National Board of Review, and the Independent Spirit Awards. The SAG Award win is particularly significant, as it often serves as a strong indicator of success at the Academy Awards. His critically acclaimed performance in Succession has been widely praised, and with such a dominant sweep throughout the awards season, his Best Supporting Actor win at the Oscars seems almost inevitable. The 2025 Academy Awards will take place on March 10, where Culkin is expected to claim his first Oscar in a category that now appears to be his to lose.
