Motorcyclist killed in Eagle collision identified by coroner as Garden City man
A Garden City man who died in a Boise-area crash on Tuesday night has been identified by the Ada County coroner.
The man — Kyle Dabney, 32 — was driving southbound on his motorcycle on Idaho 55 when he collided with a pickup truck traveling northbound that was attempting to turn onto West Floating Feather Road in Eagle, the Idaho Statesman previously reported.
Dabney was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:40 p.m., according to a news release Thursday afternoon from the Ada County Coroner's Office. The collision occurred at 9:54 p.m., officials said.
The coroner listed the cause of death as traumatic blunt force injuries and reported the death as an accident. The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating, the release said.
The 46-year-old man driving the pickup truck has not been identified.
