2026 4-star OT explains why he committed to Texas A&M

What a day it's been for Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class, as coach Mike Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing landed two key commitments along the future offensive line, as four-star offensive tackles Avery Morcho and Zaden Krempin, who are among the top pass protectors in the cycle. Morcho has been predicted to land with the Aggies over the last two weeks, while Krempin, who is coming off his Texas A&M official visit, has had OVs to Texas and Michigan over the previous month; however, Cushing's strong relationship with both players, built around his development plan that will eventually lead to the NFL sealed the deal on Wednesday afternoon. While Krempin is considered the best pass protector in the class, but has a ways to go as a run blocker. Morcho's 6'6" frame and impressive upper and lower strength make him a player to watch once he makes his way to College Station, as he believes Texas A&M was the best choice for his professional future. "A&M can develop me into that high first-round draft pick at offensive tackle." While development played the most significant role, Morcho revealed in an interview with TexAgs Recruiting that Texas A&M was the "most consistent" school during his recruitment, especially going into the summer. "Throughout this whole recruiting process, A&M has been the most consistent school for me" Morcho stated. "They want to push me to be the best player I can be. I want to be developed by the best coaches and staff." Adam Cushing has continued to prove that he is one of the top offensive line coaches as well as an elite recruiter. After landing six O-line signees in the 2025 signing class, Texas A&M's future in the trenches is all but set, especially if 2026 three-star OT Aaron Thomas is added to the mix. Texas A&M lands 2026 4-star OT out of Clearwater (FL)

Texas A&M's success recruiting elite offensive linemen has been mightily impressive under head coach Mike Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing, who recently signed six offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting cycle, and they aren't slowing down, as 2026 four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough committed to the Aggies on Monday night. Florida had been a recruiting pipeline for former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher and has been re-established under Elko after beating out Florida State and the Texas Longhorns for the standout blocker, who has played both ways during his last two seasons as a defensive lineman. Advertisement Playing primarily as right tackle during his 2024 junior season, Roseborough has continued to improve as a pass protector and has been a difference-maker in the run game. Again, beating out Florida State for a player from Clearwater (FL) while out-recruiting Texas, who has also dominated in O-line recruiting under coach Steve Sarkisian, is highly notable. Standing at 6-4 and 185 pounds, Roseborough will likely shift inside at either right or left guard at the next level, and due to his elite run-blocking skillset, this should be a seamless transition. Roseborough is the first offensive line commit in Texas A&M's 2026 class, and likely won't be the last. According to 247Sports Composite, Roseborough is currently positioned as the 142nd-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the 8th-ranked interior offensive lineman, and the 17th-ranked prospect in Florida. Texas A&M receives prediction to land 2026 4-star OT out of Missouri City (TX)

Texas A&M's future in the offensive trenches is very bright, especially with every 2024 starting offensive lineman returning for the 2025 season, while coach Mike Elko and O-line coach Adam Cushing signed six offensive linemen in the 2025 signing class. With immense depth comes long-term evaluation, and after landing four-star future guard Samuel Roseborough out of Clearwater, Florida, over Texas and Florida State on Monday night, the Aggies reportedly aren't even close to being finished adding to the future O-line in the 2026 cycle. Roseborough is just the first offensive line addition in the cycle. The next could reportedly be fellow four-star tackle Avery Mocho, who is coming off his official visit to Texas A&M. According to Rivals Aggie recruiting insider Landyn Rosow, Morcho, who has already received a prediction to land with the Aggies via On3, is also predicted to commit to the program after Rosow revealed his official prediction. Unlike Roseborough, who will likely shift inside at the next level, Morcho's 6'6" frame and elite build make him an early project at right or left tackle. Still, the traits are there, and Adam Cushing is the type of coach who can help the Missouri, Texas product reach his full potential. TCU and SMU are Texas A&M's primary competitors, but his recent visit to Texas A&M could seal the deal. According to Rivals, Morcho is the 40th-ranked prospect in Texas and the 30th-ranked offensive tackle prospect. Need a break? 2026 4-star OL has narrowed his program list, including Texas A&M

2026 4-star OL has narrowed his program list, including Texas A&M Texas A&M's recruiting history in the offensive trenches is deep, going back to the early 1990's. Still, since O-line coach Adam Cushing arrived in College Station, joining head coach Mike Elko, the Aggies have continued to out-recruit several blue-blood programs at guard and tackle, including landing six offensive line signees in the 2025 class. Ahead of the 2025 season, Texas A&M's O-line is as veteran as it gets, returning all five starters from the beginning of the 2024 season, while freshman five-star tackle Lamont Rogers might be too good to keep off the field once fall camp commences. In the 2026 cycle, four-star guard Pupungatoa Katoa, who stands at 6'4" and nearly 370 pounds, is a man mover at right guard and is set to take an official visit to College Station on June 13. Katoa is a mauler in the run game, using his natural size and strength to keep linebackers and safeties from blitzing the gaps early. While his pass protection skillset is a work in progress, he possesses the traits to become a starter by his second year at the next level. After listing Texas A&M as one of his final teams, Rivals' Sam Spiegelman reports that he has decided on the Aggies, Oklahoma, and SMU as the final programs he'll consider. "They're all pretty even right now. They're all making me feel like a priority … It's gonna be a hard choice for me" Texas A&M will continue to hold a slight edge with the Euless (TX) native, but it's important to remember that while Elko and his staff will host Katua for OV in June, so will SMU and Oklahoma. Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2026 5-star OT out of Baltimore (MD)

Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2026 5-star OT out of Baltimore (MD) Texas A&M O-line coach Adam Cushing has proven to be one of the top assistant coaches in the country, helping land six offensive line signings in the 2025 recruiting class, coupled with nearly every starting O-lineman last season returning next season. Cushing's development skillset is nearly equal to his recruiting prowess after helping flip 2025 five-star offensive tackle Lamon Rogers, who was previously committed to Missouri. In the 2026 cycle, the Aggies may have missed out on competing for five-star OT Jackson Cantwell, but as of Saturday, Texas A&M is a finalist to land 2026 five-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho, who revealed his Top 7 program list. Advertisement The Baltimore (MD) native has taken several visits to Texas A&M, including an unofficial visit last weekend, as the Aggies are now competing with Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon, Penn State, and the current favorite to land his commitment, the Maryland Terrapins. Iheanacho is an elite talent with an NFL frame and immediate starting ability due to his athleticism in pass protection and power as a run blocker. He is set to take official visits to Penn State and Maryland in mid to late June, but don't count coach Mike Elko and Adam Cushing out regarding a potential official visit to College Station. According to 247Sports, Iheanacho is currently positioned as the 11th-ranked prospect, the 4th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 2nd-ranked prospect in Maryland.
