Prothonotary Diane O. Miller and Coroner Dominick Adamo both filed petitions to be on the Republican primary ballot. Chief Sheriff Deputy Scott Hahn filed a petition to be on the Republican primary ballot after Sheriff Ernie Ritter announced he would not be running for a fifth term. All three positions are for four-year terms. Miller was appointed by the county commissioners as acting prothonotary and clerk of courts in 2019 and then won a special election to finish out the final two years of the term later that year. She was elected to her first four-year term in 2021. Adamo previously served as a deputy coroner before being elected and taking office in 2014. He is the owner of the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, Mifflinburg. Hahn started as a part-time deputy in 2001 and became a full-time deputy in 2002. He was promoted to sergeant in 2006 by former Sheriff John Shrawder. Hahn was promoted to chief deputy, the second in command, by Ritter in 2009. Lewisburg District Judge Jeffrey Rowe is also running unopposed.
