Watch: New light sport passenger aircraft flies over Abu Dhabi in live demo
In a big push towards sustainable air transport, a live aerial demonstration of the HEXA light sport passenger electric aircraft was held in Abu Dhabi.
HEXA, which aims at revolutionising personal air mobility, has three-axis joystick, three-axis autopilot system and all-electric propulsion mechanism.
The aircraft will not only be safe but also easy-to-use and emission-free while carrying passengers between cities.
The live flight experience was conducted by Advanced Mobility Hub and LIFT Aircraft Middle East; it took place during the 4th ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2025 and the Global Sustainable Marketplace.

The presentation was attended by government ministries from various countries.
The symposium highlighted the global importance of integrating advanced air mobility solutions into the region's transportation infrastructure.
