First Look Inside The Dog House Cigar Lounge
ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – We're taking a first look inside a new social club that prides itself on comradery for cigar aficionados.
The Dog House Cigar Lounge opened last week. It is operated by Aficionados of The Leaf, a non-profit organization.
Located on Washington Avenue in Endicott, it is the area's only dedicated cigar lounge.
In order to be New York State compliant, the Dog House operates on a member only basis.
Members are required to bring their own cigars but can enjoy several different rooms with smoke eaters, seating, TVs, games, and more.
Founding member David Blanco says smoking cigars a great way to unwind and meet new people.
'It's just relaxing. You sit down, and then when you have several people here, you can just sit down, you can relax, have a nice quiet smoke. You meet very interesting people,' said Blanco.
Blanco says members can enjoy cigarettes and vapes as well. He says marijuana will be allowed as long as members are respectful.
Memberships are $25 per month. Your phone will act as a key fob to access the lounge.
