Dance the day and night away under Ain Dubai at AfroLOUD
Ain Dubai is set to welcome the new music festival, AfroLOUD. Taking place on 5 April, the event is the biggest Afro festival of its kind in the region. Presented by Butterfly Carnival, it brings 10 artists from around the world, combined with un-filled, family-friendly experiences. AfroLOUD in Ain Dubai has curated a day-to-night festival experience that runs from 2pm until late. The event includes artists, a live band, food stalls and fashion pop-ups. The event will bring together a star-studded lineup of stars from the Afrobeats, Afro house, and Afro Desi genres. Expect the sounds of drums and sights of a lively dancefloor. And, if you're after an Insta-worthy experience, you can dance the day and night away under the world's tallest observation wheel, Ain Dubai. View this post on Instagram A post shared by AfroLOUD (@afroloud) Ain Dubai is twice the height of the London Eye, and was constructed from 11,200 tonnes of steel – that's 33 per cent more than the Eiffel Tower. Each leg stands at a whopping 126 meters, and each cabin is larger than two double-decker buses. The observation wheel resumed rotations in December 2024 after being closed for several years due to planned improvement works. This isn't the first time that Afrobeat stars have come to the UAE. In October, 2024, Afrobeats performer Omah Lay opened the new season at BLU Oasis. In November 2024, Afrobiano Fest took place in Abu Dhabi, and the headliners included SNE.
